After months of searching Giorgos Samaras has found a team to continue his career. Samaras signed a one year contract with American side Rayo OKC which competes in the NASL, a division below the MLS. Rayo OKC has affiliation with Rayo Vallecano in Spain and will compete in its first season in the NASL this year.
Samaras signed a deal until the end of 2016. The Greek striker has yet to find his form since the 2014 World Cup where he scored a list minute penalty to send Greece to the Last 16. Since then he signed with West Brom and Al Hilal before signing with Rayo OKC.
