PAOK's point deduction for fan violence during the Greek Cup Semi-Final has been reduced from five points to three. PAOK appealed the original decision and was awarded two points back, mathematically clinching their place in the SuperLeague Playoffs.
Although the appeals court "lightened" the 5 point deduction, the original penalties that include a fine and home games without fans will stand. PAOK will play 5 home games with closed doors and will pay a 100,000 Euro fine. The Thessalonikiotes will play all three playoff home games without fans in addition to next season's opener at the Touba Stadium.
