Sebastian Leto scored twice, his second in the 94th minute(!), to give Panathinaikos a 3-2 victory over Veria. AEK dropped points for the second straight match drawing bottom of the table Kalloni 0-0 in Mytilene. In other action, Olympiacos, Asteras Tripolis, and Atromitos all came away with the three points defeating Panthrakikos, Iraklis, and Panetolikos, respectively.

An entertaining match in Athens ended in favor of Panathinaikos 3-2 against Veria. The home side opened the score through an own goal, but 10 minutes later Veria equalized with Nazlidis. In the 58th minute, Panathinaikos saw themselves behind in the score, before Leto struck twice, his second in the 4th minute of stoppage time, giving all three points to the Greens. Despite the win, a poor showing from Panathinaikos as they prepare for the playoffs.

Another below par performance from AEK before the playoffs in today’s 0-0 draw away to Kalloni. Very few chances for the visitors, who came close to a goal in the 84th when Buonanotte hit the woodwork. AEK will look to boost their morale in next week’s home game to Panionios, who clinched their place in the playoffs after today’s win against PAOK.

In the empty Karaiskaki Stadium, due to a fan suspension, Olympiacos easily defeated Panthrakikos 4-0.  The home side secured the victory in the first half with three goals from Pulido, Pardo, and Hernani. The Portuguese striker scored his second in the 90th minute giving Olympiacos the 4-0 win.

Asteras came away with the “diplo” in Thessaloniki with Nicolas Fernandez scoring the only goal in the match. The win puts Asteras at 37 points, only two behind PAOK, for the fourth and final playoff spot. Asteras has a tough task next macthday as they host Panathinaikos in Tripoli.

Atromitos recorded their third straight win defeating Panetolikos 1-0 at the Peristeri Stadium. Dellas’ men have been on a good spell of form and look to climb in the SuperLeague standings, although a playoff spot seems like an unreachable goal.
