Olympiacos Escapes in Patra

Apollon Patras 72 - 77 Olympiacos

A lackluster Olympiacos side let Apollon Patras get back into the game after leading by as much as 21 points. Patra cut the visitor's lead to two points late in the fourth quarter but Olympiacos was able to leave Patra with a 72-77 win. The victory keeps Olympiacos atop the Basket League table, leading to home court advantage during the playoffs, with one game remaining against Rethymno.

The captain for the visitors, Vasilis Spanoulis, was able to come through late in the game by scoring key points leading to Olympiacos' victory. "Kill Bill" finished the game with 15 points and 9 assists. Free-throws were once again an issue for the visitors as Olympiacos went 18/33 from the line. The Erythrolefki finish the regular season next Wednesday against Rethymno to secure first place in the regular season and home court advantage for the playoffs.
