GREEK SUPERLEAGUE PLAYOFFS - MATCHDAY 4
|PAOK||2 - 0||Panionios|

PAOK put on another great performance in the SuperLeague Playoffs defeating Panionios 2-0 in Thessaloniki. Athanasiadis scored both goals for the home side and the Dikefalos tou Vora leads the Playoff standings.
PAOK played at home without fans for the final time this season. Despite the “cold” atmosphere, the home side had complete control of the first half. The first warning came in the 3rd minute when Athanasiadis’ strike hit the crossbar. Ten minutes later, PAOK’s captain opened the score and by the 25th minute Athanasiadis put away his second goal to give PAOK the 2-0 lead. The Dikefalos tou Vora continued to press in Panionios’ half, but the two goal lead remained into halftime. Like the first half, the visitors failed to create anything on the offensive and PAOK easily held onto their 2-0 victory to the full-time whistle.
PAOK continues to lead the SuperLeague Playoff Standings with this win and result from the other match (AEK’s 3-1 win against Panathinaikos). PAOK will travel to second placed AEK in matchday 5 in a decisive match for top spot in the playoffs.
