**Panathinaikos leads the series 2-1**

Aris defeated Panathinaikos 77-68 in Game 3 of the Greek A1 Basket League Playoff semi-finals and cut Panathinaikos’ lead in the series, 2-1.

Aris took control early in the game with a five point lead into halftime. They increased their lead to 8 points by the end of the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, Panathinaikos showed signs of a late comeback, but Waters and McNeal scored important baskets to give Aris the 77-68 win. The Thessalonikiotes showed a completely different “icon” in comparison to the first two games of the series. With the support of their fans, the home side forced Panathinaikos to 15 turnovers and capitalized on the offensive end.

Waters co-led Aris with 21 points, helping lock Aris victory at the end of the game. McNeal also had 21 points with most of his points coming in the second half. For Panathinaikos, Raduljica and Williams each scored 14 points and Diamantidis followed with 11 points and 5 assists.

Game 4 will take place in Thessaloniki on Wednesday. Aris will look to send the series to Game 5 as Panathinaikos will hope to secure their place in the Finals.
