- AEK Completes 2nd Signing With Chygrynskiy -
Dmytro Chygrynskiy became AEK’s second signing of the summer after Barkas completed his transfer from Atromitos yesterday. Chygrynskiy signed a 2+1 year contract with the Kitrinomavri.
The 29-year old defender agreed on all conditions with AEK and passed all medical tests, before signing with his new club. The Ukrainian agreed to a 2-year contract with a 1-year extension option. Chygrynskiy played at Barcelona in 2009 before moving to Shakhtar Donetsk for 5 seasons. Last year he played with Dnipro, having 15 appearances with 1 goal. Chygrynskiy has also played on the Ukrainian national team, his last appearance coming in 2011.
Chygrynskiy stated that he was excited for his move to the “Enosis” and wants to be the “organizer” of AEK’s backline. He went on further to say that he wants to be irreplaceable at AEK and to have his name heard again.
