-- Holebas’ Ripper Gives Watford all 3 Points --
Jose Holebas scored a magnificent goal to give Watford all three points in their away fixture against Middlesbrough. His second half strike was the only goal of the game giving Watford the important 0-1 win. The goal cames after Holebas announced earlier in the week that we will not continue with the Greek National Team.
With the scores at 0-0, Holebas powerfully won the ball before his thunderous strike ended up into the top corner of the net, leaving no chance for Valdes. The 54th minute goal separated the sides at the final whistle, giving Watford their third win of the season. Holebas was Watford’s best player on the night as he continues to be in excellent form this season.
The goal comes after Holebas announced his retirement from the Greek National Team earlier this week. Many reasons played a role in his decision, including opening spots for younger players and focussing his time with his club in the world’s most competitive league, the English Premier League.
