Apostolos Vellios scored another goal for Nottingham Forest before he joins the Greek National Team for their upcoming qualifiers against Cyprus and Estonia. Vellios’ goal came in the 33rd minute to give Nottingham the 0-1 lead away to Bristol City.
Apostolos Vellios is quickly finding his form in the English Championship with Nottingham Forest. The Greek striker found the back of the net for yet another game, this time against Bristol City in a league match. In the 33rd minute, Vellios acrobatically put away a rebound effort to give his team the 0-1 lead. It was Vellios’s 4th goal in 6 matches, showing his excellent form of late. Unfortunately for Vellios and Nottingham, Bristol City scored twice in the second half to earn a 2-1 comeback victory. After today’s result, Nottingham sits in 18th place in the English Championship with 12 points from 11 games.
Vellios was recently called up to the National team for Greece’s upcoming qualifiers against Cyprus and Estonia. The 24-year old will be a valuable option off the bench, behind Mitrolgou, to assist in the Greek attack.
