AEK put on another dominating performance in the Greek Basket League, defeating Trikala 59-78 on the road. PAOK barely escaped with the win at home to Apollon Patras while Aris earned their first victory in two games away to Patras other club, Prometheus. Additionally, Koroivos defeated Doxa Lefkadas as Rethymno was victorious against Lavrio.

AEK continued their undefeated season in both Greece and Europe, by defeating Trikala 59-78 in the 4th round of the Greek A1 Basket League. After an even first half, important three-pointers at the beginning of the third and fourth quarters for AEK proved decisive as the Kitrinomavri came away with another blowout victory this season. Vasileiadis and Williams led AEK with 14 points and Sakota added 13 points. With the win, AEK and Olympiacos remain the only undefeated teams in this year’s Basket League. PAOK barely escaped at home to Apollon Patras in their fourth round match in this year’s Greek Basket League. The Dikefalos tou Vorra trailed for most of the game until a 13-1 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter put them ahead 72-68. The two teams exchanged the lead in the final quarter but a 3-pointer from PAOK’s Sibert gave his side the 84-83 lead with 13 seconds to play. Apollon Patras could not convert in the final seconds and PAOK held onto their third straight victory in this year’s Basket League. Chrysikopoulos was PAOK’s leading scorer with 20 points and Clanton followed with 12 points. Highlights can be found here...

Aris bounced back after two consecutive defeats in the Greek Basket League to earn a 79-89 victory in Patra against Prometheus. Aris began to build their lead in the second quarter and it gradually increased in the second half. Overall, the hosts did not threaten a comeback and Aris moved up to 2-2 for the season. The team from Thessaloniki was led by a great performance from Jenkins who had 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Dragicevic followed with 18 points and Zaras had 15-points. Highlights can be found here...

Koroivos pulled off a tremendous comeback to earn their first victory of the season by defeating Doxa Lefkadas 74-71. Koroivos trailed by 18 points at the beginning of the fourth quarter as it seemed that Doxa Lefkadas would earn their 2nd victory of the season. However, led by Brown, Koroivos shocked the visitors pulling off a fourth quarter comeback and ultimately earning the victory. Brown had a double double for his side scoring 18 points and dishing 11 assists. Koroivos and Doxa Lefkadas are now 1-3 for the season. Highlights can be found here...

Led by Talton, Arnold, and Fitzpatrick, Rethymno put behind them last week’s defeat to Apollon Patras and defeated Lavrio 88-79. The three Americans put up 17 points, 16 points, and 15 points, respectively, and Rethymno moved up to 3-1 for the season. Lavrio went to 0.500 with their 2-2 record after four games. Highlights can be found here...
