Bad news for the Greek National Team...Today’s medical tests revealed that Kostas Manolas will need to undergo immediate surgery on his nose, which will keep him off of the pitch for 2 weeks. The injury will sideline him for Roma’s upcoming fixtures, but more importantly he will likely miss Greece’s crucial FIFA World Cup qualifier against Bosnia on November 13th. However, with a speedy recovery he could be fit just in time for the big match against the Bosnians.
In the coming days, Michael Skibbe is expected to announce the 23-men roster for the qualifier against Bosnia and the friendly against Belarus, which will take place on November 9th at the Karaiskaki Stadium.
