-- Tsiolis Takes Over Larissa --
One day after the surprise sacking of Angelos Anastasiadis, Larissa announced Sakis Tsiolis as their new manager.
Sakis Tsiolis will take over Angelos Anastasiadis position as manager of AE Larissa, after Anastasiadis was sacked yesterday by the club.. Tsiolis signed on with the Vyssini after coming to a deal agreement earlier in the day. The 57-year old was the manager of Larissa last season, leading them to promotion to the Superleague, but due to disagreements with the team’s major shareholder, Alexis Kougias, he left the club in June. He will now aim to keep Larissa in the Superleague (avoiding the drop) as they sit in 11th place with 8 points after 7 games.
