PAOK was defeated for a second time by Belchatow in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the CEV Volleyball Champions League and was eliminated from the competition.
After winning the first leg 3-0 in Thessaloniki, Belchatow was victorious at home against PAOK 3-1 set to qualify for the next round of the CEV Volleyball Champions League. The Greek Champions had a high mountain to climb after their heavy first leg defeat at home and they were unable to pull off a comeback in the second leg. PAOK fell behind 1-0 after the first set, but drew level in the second set. However, Belchatow was too strong for the Dikefalos tou Vora in the final two sets and comfortably won the match 3-1.
PAOK will now continue in Europe's’ 2nd tier Volleyball competition, the CEV Cup, along with Olympiacos. The CEV Champions League will continue without a Greek representative for this season.
