PAOK scored a goal right out of the locker rooms as they found themselves ahead 0-1 after 48 seconds of play with Andreopoulos’ unfortunate own goal. The Dikefalos tou Vora had complete control of the match and they did not waste much time to double their lead. A great finish by Biseswar from outside the penalty area gave PAOK the 0-2 lead in the 23rd minute and 10 minutes later, the visitors were awarded a penalty kick after Rodrigues was fouled in the box. Athanasiadis’ shot was saved by Koutzovasilis, but Campos put away the rebounded effort giving PAOK a 0-3 lead into halftime.
The pace of the game fell in the second half, however PAOK managed to add two more goals to their total. Campos put his name on the score sheet for the second time with his shot in the 58th minute and last weeks man of the match, Leo Matos, shaped the final score with his headed goal in the 61st minute. The final whistle gave PAOK their second consecutive win in league play and their fourth in all competition.
In PAOK’s last four victories, they have scored a total of 17 goals while conceding none. This includes a 2-0 victory over Slovan Liberec (Europa League), 3-0 win over Platanias (SuperLeague), 0-7 victory against Panelefsiniakos (Cup), and today’s 0-5 win over Kerkyra. The team from Thessaloniki will look to continue their fine form of late in the new year as they make a final push for a high finish in this year's Superleague.
