Panionios got revenge over Levadiakos for their elimination in the Greek Cup by defeating the team from Livadeia 1-4 in league play. Risvanis opened the scoring before Giakoumakis equalized late in the first half. Korbos regave Panionios the lead before the halftime whistle and Shojaei and Ben secured the victory for Panionios with two second half goals.

Panionios took control of the game early on as they saw most of the possession and created multiple chances on goal. The breakthrough came in the 36th minute when Risvanis’ header, from Fountas’ corner, found the back of the net. Six minutes later, in their first real chance of the game, Levadiakos equalized when Giakoumakis turned in a rebounded effort from Milhazes’ free-kick. The late leveler was quickly canceled out by Korbos’ goal, who was at the right place at the right time, re-giving Panionios the 1-2 lead before the break. Korbos did not celebrate his goal showing respect towards his former team.

In the second half, Panionios secured all three points with two goals in the opening 20 minutes. Masoud gave the visitors a 1-3 lead with his well-placed shot from inside the penalty area (50') and Ben made not mistake as he was played in one-on-one with the keeper to make it 1-4. Like Korbos, Ben did not celebrates his goal against his former team. The final 25 minutes were played at a much slower pace with Panionios celebrating the 1-4 victory.

During the week in Cup play, Levadiakos and Kissamikos played to a draw, eliminating Panionios from the competition (Levadiakos and Kissamikos went through). The Kyanerythri got their revenge in league play jumping up to 21 points in the standings while Levadiakos remain wee behind with 12 points.
