-- Siovas Loaned Off to Spain --
Dimitris Siovas will continue his career in Spain for Leganes until the end of the season. Olympiacos and Leganes agreed to a 6-month loan deal with a possible buyout option at the end of the season.
After 4.5 seasons at Olympiacos, Dimitris Siovas will continue his career elsewhere. The Greek defender has been loaned out to Spanish club, Leganes, until the end of the season. The two teams agreed to a 6-month loan deal that includes a buyout option that is rumored to be around €4.
Siovas was never in Paulo Bento’s plans for the season and came close to signing with Betis over the summer but the deal fell through, keeping him at Olympiacos for the first half of the season. Leganes was promoted to the Spanish La Liga last season and currently sit in 16th place with 16 points. Siovas will look to re-find his form in Spain while hoping to keep his side away from the relegation zone. This move could lead to Siovas' place back in the Greek National Team for their upcoming qualifiers in March and June.
He will meet his teammates tomorrow at his first training session with his new club.
