- Bakasetas Makes Move to AEK -
Tasos Bakasetas is officially a player of AEK! The Kitrinomavri announced the player earlier today after reaching an agreement with Panionios for his transfer. Bakasetas signed a 3-year deal with AEK.
A day before his 23rd birthday, Tasos Bakasetas signed with his beloved club, AEK. For sometime, Bakasetas and AEK had agreed on terms but Panionios stood in the way of the deal. Bakasetas’ former team refused to sell the Greek international to AEK. However, today the two clubs came to an agreement for his transfer that is estimated to be around €300,000. Bakasetas will now join the team in Poland for pre-season training.
Bakasetas made his SuperLeague debut in 2010, at the age of 16, with Asteras Tripolis. After being loaned off to Thrasyvoulos and Aris, he signed with Panionios in January 2015. With the Kyanerythri, he played 42 games and was the team’s leading scorer this past season with 12 goals. Bakasetas was recently called up to the National Team for Greece’s friendlies with Australia and will most likely be apart of the Greek team during World Cup Qualifying.
