Panathinaikos 2:00 PM (EST) AIK

Panathinaikos will look for a decisive result that will “secure” their place in the Playoff Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa League from the first leg. A “clean win” (a win without conceding an away goal) will be the priority for the hosts.  The Prasini are the clear favorites against AIK as anything other than a win will be a disappointing result.

Stramaccioni will have a full roster with the exception of Thelander who was ruled out due to injury. The possible starting line-up will be: Steele, Mesto, Hult, Koutroubis, Moledo, Ledesma, Zeca, Lod, Wakaso, Ibarbo, and Berg.

AZ Alkmaar 2:45 PM (EST) PAS Giannina

After historically qualifying from the second round in the Europa league against Odd BK, PAS Giannina now face Dutch giants AZ Alkmaar. The Greeks are the clear outsiders, but will hope for the best in tonight's first leg match in the Netherlands. Giannina will strive to trouble their opponents through a good performance and hopefully get a result that will keep them alive for the return leg in Greece in one week's time. Alexandros Nikolia did not travel to the Netherlands due to an injury.

Petrakis is expected to line his team up in a 3-5-2 formation with the starting XI consisting of: Paschalakis, Michail, Tzimopoulos, Berios, Karanikas, Nadales, Lila, Kozoroni, Acosta, Koutris, and Giakos.

Saint Etienne 3:00 PM (EST) AEK

AEK returns to UEFA's competitions for the first time in four years and have an extremely difficult task ahead of them.  Tonight they travel to France to play Saint Etienne, who finished in sixth place in last year's French Ligue 1. The Enosi will look for a result in the first leg that will keep them in contention for next week's return leg in Athens. Coach Temur Ketsbaia and the players are confident in their abilities and announced that they are traveling to France for the win.

It seems that Ketsbaia will present AEK in a 4-2-3-1 formation consisting of: Anestis, Didac, Chygrynskiy, Kolovetsios, Galo, Simoes, Johansson, Mantalos, Barabosa, Aravidis/Vargas, and Pekhart. Newly signed Hugo Almeida and Patito were left out of the roster for tonight’s match.
