TRACK & FIELD – Men's 50km walk, FINAL Round: Alexandros Papamichail
***Alexandros Papamichail had another good showing in Rio, this time in the Men's 50km Walk Event. He finished in 28th place with a time of 3:59:21.
Gymnastics – Women's Individual All-Around, Qualification: Varvara Filiou
***Filiou finished in 15th place in the Women's Individual All-Around qualifying round and did not progress to the final (top 10 athletes).
TRACK & FIELD – Women's 20km walk, FINAL Round: Antigoni Drisbioti, Panayiota Tsinopoulou
***Antonia Drisbioti was fantastic in the Women's 20km walk, finishing in 15th place with a time of 1:32:32! The Greek athlete will be very happy with her final ranking in the competition. Panayiota Tsinopoulo finished in 47th.
TRACK & FIELD – Women's Pole Vault, FINAL Round: Katerina Stefanidis
***Katerina Stefanidis won Greece's 3rd GOLD medal in Rio after a tremendous and nerve racking competition in the Women's Pole Vault Final Round. Full story here...
