- Durmaz Makes Move to Toulouse -
Jimmy Durmaz will continue his career in France with Toulouse. The Olympiacos winger signed a 3-year deal with the club.
It was known for some time that Jimmy Durmaz was on his way out of Olympiacos, after a summer filled with many transfer rumors. The Swedish international will continue his career in France for Toulouse after a signing a 3-year deal with the club earlier today. Olympiacos is thought to receive a transfer fee of €2-2.5 million.
Durmaz signed with Olympiacos in 2014. In his two seasons with the club, he made 43 appearances and scored 9 goals. His final game with the Greek Champions was in Olympiacos’ recent win over Arouca in Europa League Qualifying.
Olympiacos will now look for another winger to replace Durmaz. Before Durmaz’s move, the Erythrolefki were searching for a winger in the transfer market and could possibly make 2 signings in that position after Durmaz’s departure. According to sportfm.gr, it seems that Olympiacos has reached a deal with Chelsea for German International Marko Marin.
