Rowing – Men’s Coxless Lightweight Four, Heat 2 (11:00 AM): S. Ntouskos, I. Petrou, S. Giannaros, P. Magdanis
Water Polo – Men’s Tournament, Group A (12:00): Greece v Japan
Swimming – Women’s 100m Butterfly, Heat 4 (12:37 PM): Anna Ntountounaki
Swimming – Women’s 100m Butterfly, Heat 5 (12:40 PM): Kristel Vourna
Swimming – Men’s 400m Freestyle, Heat 3 (1:00 PM): Dimitris Dimitriou

*Please note that Heats are considered qualifying rounds while FINAL rounds are the “medal” rounds.

Eleftherios Petrounias, the favorite for the gold medal in the Men’s Rings, makes his debut in the Qualifying Round. Vlasis Maras will make his 4th appearance at the Olympics in the qualifying round of the Men’s Horizontal Bar.

Both the Women’s Double Sculls and Men’s Coxless Lightweight Four teams in rowing will look to progress past the Heat rounds while Ntountounaki, Vourna, Dimitriou, and Samilidis compete in various swimming Heats.

In the Men’s Cycling Road Race Ioannis Tamouridis will compete in the only round of the competition, the Final (medal round).

Finally, our Men’s National Water Polo Team debuts in the Group Stage against Japan.
