Apollon Smyrnis, Aris, and OFI each recorded victories in their fight for promotion while Panthrakikos and Aiginiakos were victorious against Kallithea and Panelefsiniakos. Kalloni and Kissamikos played to a 1-1 draw. 

Apollon Smyrnis continued their great start to this season’s Greek Football League by defeating Acharnaikos 3-1. Petropoulos led the way in the 17th minute and Siatravanis doubled the hosts’ lead in the 41st minute. Acharnaikos pulled on back right before the halftime whistle, but it was Petropoulos who sealed the victory for Apollon Smyrnis with his second goal of the night coming in the 81st minute. The win sends Apollon Smyrnis to first place in the standings as they remain the only unbeaten side in the league.

Aris struggled in yet another game this season, but were able to come away with the three points as they defeated Panegialios 2-1 in Thessaloniki. Karabelas opened the scoring for the hosts at the half hour mark before a late first half goal from Stikas sent the teams level into the break. The winner came midway through the second half when the substitute Milunovic found the back of the net for the Kitrinomavri. The win keeps Aris only three points behind the leaders, Apollon Smyrnis, while Panegialios remain one point clear of the relegation zone. 

OFI bounced back after their loss to Agrotikos Asteras by coming away with a 2-0 victory over Panserraikos in Irakleio. Vouho gave the hosts an early lead with his goal in the 5th minute and Chanti sealed the win, doubling OFI’s advantage in the 78th minute. The result keeps OFI well in contention for promotion as they claim 4th spot with 17-points, only 5 points behind 2nd placed Lamia. Panserraikos are 7th with 13-points.

An early goal from Iliadis (10’) was not enough for Kallithea as they fell 2-1 in Komotini to Panthrakikos. Plegas scored both goals for the hosts with his first coming from the penalty spot, only two minutes after Iliadis’ goal.,The winner came late in the game, giving his side the comeback victory.  Panthrakikos sit in 10th place while Kallithea looms in the relegation zone.

Two second half goals saw Kalloni and Kissamikos play to a 1-1 draw in Mytilene. The visitors opened the scoring in the 63rd minute with Mantzis, before Sabanis salvaged a point for Kalloni three minutes from time. Kalloni continue to struggle in this year’s Football League as they sit in the relegation zone while Kissamikos are 9th in the standings.

Aiginiakos got some breathing room for the relegation zone after their 0-1 win in Elefsina against Panelefsiniakos. An 82nd minute goal from Giazitzoglou separated the sides at the final whistle with Aiginiakos moving up to 12th place with 9 points. Panelefsiniakos remain bottom of the table with only two points from nine matches.

The match between Trikala and Anagennisi Karditsas was once again postponed due to the heavy snowfall and cold temperatures.
