It is no secret that Kostas Manolas is one of Europe’s best defender and he has rightfully caught the eye of some of the best clubs in Europe. According to Corriere della Sera, Manchester United and Arsenal are putting up a tough fight for the Greek defender while Chelsea continue to express their interest in Manolas.
According to Mediaset Premium, Paris Saint Germain is the latest team that wants to add Manolas to their roster. The French giants have the ability to meet Roma’s demands, which exceed €45 Million for the 25-year old.
Late Wednesday night, sdna.gr reported that Manolas is extremely close to signing on at Inter Milan with Roma accepting an offer that exceeds €42 Million. If this is true, it will be the biggest signing (monetary wise) by any Greek player in history. The Chinese owners of Inter Milan will satisfy Roma’s demands while giving Manolas a significant raise, seeing the Greek defender as the number one priority this transfer season.
In the midst of all the transfer rumors, Manolas is in talks with Roma about a contract renewal and extension.
