-- Its Official...Antetokounmpo Will START in the NBA All Star Game --

It is official...Giannis Antetokounmpo will be in New Orleans playing at the NBA All Star Game. The Greek Freak will start for the East.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the first Greek to play in an NBA All-Star game after being selected to the East’s starting line-up. He will also be the Bucks first representative in an All-Star game since 2004. Antetokounmpo has had a fantastic season with the Milwaukee Bucks and will rightfully be in New Orleans in February. He is currently the only player in the NBA to lead his team in five categories including average points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks per game.

Antetokounmpo has had a tremendous journey in his young career. Four years ago, Antetokounmpo was playing in the Greek second division and he is now one of the best players in the world’s greatest Basketball Leagues, the NBA.

Antetokounmpo recorded over 1,600,000 votes in the voting process that ended on January 16th. The people’s vote counted for 50% while the press and other players’ votes weighed 25% each.

In addition to Antetokounmpo, the starting five for the East will include DeMar DeRozan, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, and Jimmy Butler. The West includes Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony Davis.

Bravo Gianni!!
