Lamia continued their impressive run in the Football league, coming back to defeat OFI 1-2 in Crete. Aris was also victorious as they defeated Acharnaikos 1-2 on the road.
OFI blew a golden chance to inch closer to the promotion places in the Football League after their 1-2 home defeat to Lamia. The Cretan club took the lead in the 59th minute through Vouho, however two goals within 8 minutes (Durmishaj 65’, Omo 73’) saw Lamia walk away with all three points from Irakleio. The win not only moves Lamia into first in the standings, but leaves OFI six points behind second place (leads to promotion) having playing an extra game. Aris added three points to their tally after a win on the road against Acharnaikos. It looked as if it was going to be an easy night for the Thessaloniki club when Bargan gave his side the 0-1 lead in the 10th minute and just after the half hour mark, Aris was ahead 0-2 when Ilic added his name to the score sheet. However, Acharnaikos pulled one back in first half stoppage time through Tsemperidis. The hosts pressed on for an equalizer in the second half, but Aris was able to hold onto the result (1-2) and move up to 26 points on the season, sitting in third place.
