-- Tzavellas Denies APOEL Offer...Signs With Alanyaspor --
Giorgios Tzavellas will continue his career in Turkey after signing a 2.5-year deal with Alanyaspor.
According to midweek reports, it looked as if Giorgios Tzavellas would continue his career in Cyprus for APOEL. However, the Greek defender was not satisfied with APOEL’s offer and the two sides did not reach an agreement.
This paved the way for Alanyaspor to make a hefty offer for the 29-year old and Tzavellas agreed to terms with the Turkish club. Tzavellas signed a 2.5-year contract with earnings expected to reach up to €2 million plus bonuses. The club announced their new signing earlier today.
Alanyaspor is based out of Alanya, Turkey and currently sit 14th in the Turkish Super Lig standings, only two places above the relegation zone.
