Premier League Clubs Eyeing Olympiacos’ Milivojevic
Olympiacos’ best player this season has caught the eye of multiple English Premier League clubs according to ESPN and Daily Mail. Marco Silva’s Hull City have expressed the most interest in the Serbian international.
Southampton, Watford, Sunderland, West Ham, Leicester City, and Hull City are all interested in Olympiacos’ captain Luka Milivojevic according to reports from ESPN and Daily Mail. The Serbian has had a great season with the Erythrolefki and could make a move to England.
Currently, Hull City are the favorites to acquire Milivojevic as former Olympiacos and current Hull City coach, Marco Silva, wants to add Milivojevic to his roster. According to Daily Mail, Hull is willing to offer up to €25 Million for the 25-year old, an amount that will likely satisfy Olympiacos’ “asking price.”.
Despite the interest from England, it is unlikely that Milivojevic will transfer out from Olympiacos during the winter transfer window. In the past, Milivojevic has stated that he wants to finish the season at Olympiacos while the Erythrolefki’s management would like to keep one of their key players until the end of the season; seeing that Olympiacos will be competing not only in the Greek Superleague and Cup, but also the Europa League knockout stages.
That being said, if a great offer comes in for Milivojevic,Olympiacos could close on a deal before the end of January.
