Omonoia did not have any trouble passing through Salamina, turning a potential dangerous game into an easy 3-0 win. Goals from Sheridan and Derbyshire, as well as an own goal from Fusco established the Prasini in 5th place. On the other hand, Staikos Vergetis’ team saw Anorthosis inch closer in the standings, with the two Famagusta teams sitting 8th and 9th place with 26 points. Highlights can be found here...

Apollon continued with another win, this time against the last placed team of the table Anagennisi. A goal from Maglica gave the 3 points (1-0 win), at the windy and cold Tasos Markou Stadium in Paralimni. Apollon is now 4th, 6 points behind APOEL. The Dheryneiotes fought as they have many times this season, however they were not able to match the superiority of their opponent. Highlights can be found here...

After a change in the administration, Anorthosis wanted a victory to boost the supporters morale and to turn the page of the disastrous last months. They did just that defeating Ermis 1-4 on the road. Goncalves scored two goals at his farewell game before leaving for Scotland to join Hearts, while Joao Victor and Shehu also found the back of the net. For Ermis the only goal came from Benga in a disspointing showing from the fterodopodaroi. The club’s President Loukas Fanieros sacked coach Giorgos Kosma and hired Carlos Corberan who was sacked last week from Doxa. Anorthosis now return in the battle for 6th place just 2 points behind sixth placed Ermis. Highlights can be found here...

APOEL became the first team to escape from Dasaki with a 2-3 win over Ethnikos, despite the early goal from the hosts by Hadjivasilis. The galazokitrinoi responded with three goals from De Camargo, Astiz and Gianniotas, while both teams lost chances for even more goals while Bertoglio wasted a penalty that he won. A late penalty for the hosts turned into a goal by Pinceli which shaped the final score. APOEL now have a 5 point difference from 2nd AEK and next week the two teams will play in Nicosia. Despite the loss, Ethnikos are still 7th place just a point away behind the postseason championship group. Highlights can be found here...

Karmiotissa visited Nicosia and the Makareio Stadium to face off against Doxa with only a win in mind. The team from Polemidia was better than Doxa and returned to Limassol with 3 important points after their 1-2 win. Adamovic put Karmiotissa in front, however Doxa managed to equalize with a penalty from Braulio. The winning goal came a few minutes before the end from Pasek. Karmiotissa now sit in 10th place, five points behind the postseason championship group, while Doxa remain just one point above the relegation zone. Highlights can be found here...

A 1-1 draw between AEK Larnaca and Zakakiou is without a doubt the most shocking result of the week. An early goal from Semedo gave the Zakakiotes the lead and it was the beginning of a continuous siege from AEK. The hosts desperately looked for the equalizing goal and wasted many chances in doing so. The leveler came five minutes before the end from Acoran, salvaging a point for AEK. During stoppage time, however, AEK wasted a glorious chance to complete the comeback, as young goalkeeper Sofroniou denied Trickovski’s penalty kick. AEK are now 5 points behind APOEL, while AEL now sit tied for second with AEK. AEZ gained a valuable point as they fight till the end to avoid relegation (are 13th). Highlights can be found here...

It was an easy Monday night game in Limassol for AEL with their 3-0 win over Aris. Three goals from Sassi, Lafrance and Dossa Junior, where all served from Piti who continues to amaze the fans with his quality play. Aris could not resist Pambos Christodoulou’s team, as they were left with ten men after Rogerio Martins saw a red card for a hard foul on Fortuna. AEL are now tied with AEK in second place just 5 points behind APOEL while Aris are still just 4 points above the relegation zone. Highlights can be found here...
