-- A Panathinaikos With Future --
GREEK SOCCER CUP - ROUND OF 16 (LEG 2)
|Kissamikos||0 - 4||Panathinaikos|

The young talent of Panathinaikos grasped the opportunity given to them in today’s Greek Cup fixture away to Kissamikos as the Trifylli thrashed the Creation club 0-4 and qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition (7-0 aggregate).
Marinos Ouzounidis gave playing time to many of the club’s youngsters in today’s second leg Greek Cup Round of 16 fixture away to Kissamikos and they did not disappoint. The Prasini had a decisive 3-0 lead from the first leg and simply needed to finish the job in Crete.
The youngster’s grasped the opportunity as a “new and fresh” Panathinaikos thrashed the hosts 0-4. Klonaridis, who signed with the club on Monday, was the match’s MVP and became the first Greek scorer this season for Panathinaikos with his goal in the 42nd minute. In the second half, the Greek youngster Hatzigiovannis (who seems to be a great prospect for the future) and Pispas each added goals before Boumale scored 10 minutes from time to give Panathinaikos a 0-4 victory on the night and 7-0 on aggregate.
After another convincing performance from the club’s young talent, Marinos Ouzounidis is sure to quickly integrate the players into the Superleague fixtures. The club has had a result spell of bad form and this “new and fresh” talent could be what the Prasini need.
Panathinaikos will face Asteras Tripolis in the quarterfinals of the competition.
