AEK pulled off a late comeback to down Trikala while PAOK fell away to Apollon Patras. Aris had an easy night against Prometheus as Koroivos gained an important win in their fight for safety.

Trikala almost pulled off one of the biggest upsets in recent years in their fixture against AEK at the OAKA Nick Galis Stadium.  However, the Enosis completed a TREMENDOUS late comeback to walk away with an 87-82 victory. The hosts were behind by as many as 16 points and with 5 minutes remaining, Trikala held a 12 point lead. Sakota led the comeback and AEK to victory, finishing the game with 25 points. The Kitrinomavri remain in third place while Trikala are just above the drop  zone in 11th place.

Apollon Patras upset PAOK at home with their 88-79 victory to stay alive in their fight for safety. The visitors seemed very fatigued from their recent spell of games against Aris and Partizan as their record dropped to 9-8. It was Apollon’s first win in four games, sitting in 12th place just ahead of  Kymi.

Aris had an easy night against Prometheus as they defeated their opponents 80-64. Cummings (16 points), Jenkins (15 points), and Kavvadas (10 points, 6 rebounds) were the best players for the hosts who remain in fourth place with a 10-7 record. Aris will now turn their attention to their matches against the eternal rivals on Wednesday at the Stadio Eirinis kai Filias in league play and on Saturday against Panathinaikos for the Greek Cup Final.

Koroivos gained some breathing room from the drop zone by defeating Doxa Lefkadas 65-69. Despite falling behind 61-54 with six minutes left, Koroivos pulled off a late comeback to record their sixth win of the season. Doxa Lefkadas look all the more the favorites for relegation as they have only 3 wins from 18 games.

Lavrio played good basketball to easily hold off Rethymno 73-62, moving into 7th place in the standings.
