-- Giannis...The All-Star --
Giannis Antetokounmpo shined in his first NBA All-star Game. The 22-year old was the East’s leading scorer with 30 points in a game that saw the West walk away with the 192-182 win.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was not only present in his first NBA All-Star game, but finished as the East’s leading scorer. The Greek Freak scored 30 points (14/16 from the field, 2/2 from the free throw-line), grabbed six rebounds, dished 1 assists, and forced 3 steals. However, it was not enough for the East as they fell 192-182 to the West.
If the East was victorious, Antetokounmpo would have been named the MVP of the game. However, the title went to Anthony Davis who broke a new All-Star game record with 52 points (previously held by Wilt Chamberlain with 42 points in 1962).
