Despite the absence of their captain, Vassilis Spanoulis, Olympiacos recorded a rather comfortable win in Israel at the expense of Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the 24th round of the Euroleague regular season. From the beginning of the game, the Erythrolefki had complete control of the game and their superiority showed on the court as they came away with a 71-82 victory.

Five Olympiacos players finished the game with double digit points including Green (16 points), Printezis (15 points), Lojeski (15 points), Waters (14 points), and Papanikolaou with 11 points.

The win brings Olympiacos’ record to 17-7 in this year’s Euroleague regular season and with six games remaining, the Erythrolefki will likely have home court advantage in the playoffs.
They currently hold third place in the standings and are only one win behind the league leaders Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow.
