New Scoring Career-High for Sensational Giannis
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 44 points on Saturday to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the Portland Trail Blazers 113-110.
The Greek Freak’s tremendous start to the season continued on Saturday as he put up a new scoring career-high 44 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. Antetokounmpo took over in the fourth quarter to score 17 points and lead the Bucks to a narrow 113-110 victory, improving their record to 2-1.
In addition to his impressive 44-point game, Antetokounmpo whent 17/23 from the field, 9/13 from FTs, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished 4 assists, recorded 2 steals, 1 block, and only two turnovers in 39 minutes of play.
With Antetokounmpo’s all-star start to the season, it was only a matter of time before the 22-year old broke his scoring career-high from last season where he put up 41 points against the Lakers. In his first two games of the season against the Cavaliers and Celtics, the Greek international finished the game with 34 and 37 points, respectively, and with his numbers on Saturday, is averaging 38 points per game to start the 2017/18 NBA season.
