-- Olympiacos to Accept BIG Offer for Milivojevic --
Crystal Palace have made an offer of €15 Million to acquire Olympiacos star Luka Milivojevic with the Greek side likely to move forward with the transfer.
According to the sportfm.gr, Olympiacos have received an offer of €15 Million for Luka Milivojevic from Crystal Palace. The Serbian international has been Olympiacos’ best player this season and as of late, has caught the interest of many clubs in the English Premier League.
Crystal Palace have the first say with their high offer while Hull City (coached by former Olympiacos manager Marco Silva) and Leicester City have also expressed interest in the 25-year old. Olympiacos and Crystal Palace have begun their negotiations as the deal could close in the coming (or within) the day(s).
Olympiacos bought Milivojevic from Anderlecht in 2014 for €2.3 Million and if the deal closes, the Erythrolefki will make an astronomical amount of 6.5x the amount they paid for the Serbian midfielder.
In the scenario that Milivojevic transfers out, Olympiacos will quickly need to fill the gap left behind in the midfield. Pajtim Kasami, who currently plays on loan from Olympiacos at Nottingham Forest, could make a return to Greece while Panionios star, Manolis Siopis, could return to Olympiacos from the Nea Smyrni side. Olympiacos currently house three players in Milivojevic’s position, including Romao, Cambiasso, and Bouchalakis.
