-- Dr. J, M.J....Greek Freak --
Giannis Antetokounmpo “took off” against the Pacers, bringing back memories of Julius Erving and Michael Jordan’s memorable dunks from the free throw line.
In Saturday’s NBA match between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers, Giannis Antetokounmpo was once again the talk of the night. The Greek Freak “took off” from the free throw line to slam home a spectacular dunk in the third quarter.
The dunk sent us back to Michael Jordan in the 1998 NBA slam dunk contest and Julius Erving in the 1976 ABA slam dunk contest where they each took flight from the free throw line. ESPN tweeted about Antetokounmpo’s dunk and released a video showing the similarities of the three memorable dunks.
