AEK’s Tsintotas expecting National Team call-up
AEK’s ace, Panagiotis Tsintotas, is expected to be in Michael Skibbe’s call-ups for Greece’s upcoming friendlies in March.
The 24-year old goalkeeper has ben exceptional for AEK since taking over as the club’s new #1 after Giannis Anestis’ relations with the club took a wrong turn, leaving him sidelined since January. Michael Skibbe is expected to call-up Tsintotas for Greece’s upcoming friendlies in March against Switzerland and Egypt as the Ethniki prepare for the UEFA Nations League, which kicks off in September.
Tintotas will partner Orestis Karnezis as Greece’s #1 and #2 goalkeepers while PAOK’s in-form Alexandros Paschalakis or Atromitos’ Andreas Gianniotis will be chosen as the Ethniki’s third goalkeeper.
As previously reported on AGONAsport.com, the Greece coach seems keen to bring new faces to the national team including PAOK’s Limios and Tsintotas’ teammate, Kostas Galanopoulos.
