After yesterday's decision from the SuperLeague Disciplinary Committee in regards to the abandoned matchday 2 fixture between PAOK and Panathinaikos, the playoff table has drastically changed. PAOK were awarded a 3-0 win over Panathinaikos while the Trifylli were deducted three points from the playoff standings. The current standings are as follows:

PAOK 11
AEK 9
Panathinaikos 5
Panionios 4

Final Matchday Fixtures:
PAOK - Panathinaikos
Panionios - AEK

Two spots remain up for grabs in the playoffs including first place and third place.

First place: Only PAOK and AEK can mathematically claim first place on the final matchday. For PAOK it is simple, a win over Panathinaikos will give them first place and a spot in next year's UEFA Champions League qualifying. For AEK to have any hopes of first place, they will need to defeat Panionios and hope for a PAOK loss or draw against Panathinaikos. If PAOK and AEK draw on points, AEK hold the tiebreaker advantage due to their better head-to-head record in the playoffs.

Third Place: The fight for third place will be between Panathinaikos and Panionios. For Panionios to climb into third place they must defeat AEK and Panathinaikos must not win in Thessaloniki against PAOK. Any other result will give Panathinaikos third place. If Panionios and Panathinaikos finish level on points, the Prasini hold the advantage due to their better head-to-head record in the playoffs.

A reminder, the winner of the Greek Superleague playoffs will earn a place in next year’s UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, where as the three remaining teams will play in next year’s UEFA Europa League. The second and third placed teams from the playoffs will enter the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round while the last placed team in the playoffs will enter the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round.
