Kolossos Rodou finished seventh in the Greek Basket League regular season after they easily defeated Trikala 73-53. Kolossos will play in the postseason while Trikala will be happy with their first 10-win season in the club’s history.

Rethymno held onto sixth place in the regular season after their comfortable 67-80 win on the road over relegated Doxa Lefkadas. They will matchup with Kolossos in the first round of the playoffs while Doxa Lefkadas drop down to the A2 League.

Apollon Patras bid farewell to the A1 League despite winning today’s game over Lavrio 72-61. The team from Patra needed a slip up from Koroivos, who defeated Prometheus, to have any hopes of avoiding the drop, however that result did not come. The historic team will play in the A2 for the first time in 5 years, joining Doxa Lefkadas in the second division. On the other hand, Lavrio finished in 8th place and will play in the postseason for the first time in their club’s history.

Koroivos avoided relegation as they came away with a 66-62 win over Prometheus, leaving their opponents out of the postseason. The game was tied at 62-62 with just 35 second to play, before Starks scored four points for the hosts salvaging their place in the first division for next season. Prometheus, who played for the first time ever in the A1 league, just missed out on a playoff spot claiming ninth place in the regular season.
