Greek forward Georgios Manousos was twice on target for the home side, who had started the season with four consecutive draws before finally hitting the jackpot in front on their fans in Peristeri in this Matchday 5 clash.

All the goals came in a superb first-half from Damir Canadi’s side, with Egyptian midfielder Amr Warda – on loan from PAOK, setting the ball rolling with the opening strike in the 27th minute.

Manousis then doubled the advantage just a minute later before hitting his second and his team’s third in the 35th minute to seal a great win which moved Atromitos on to seven points in fifth spot. Lamia remain unmoved in 12th place.

Platanias continue good form with away win over Apollon

Apollon Smyrni 0 - 1 Platanias

N' Sikulu 22'

Elsewhere, Platanias’ encouraging early-season form continued with a hard-earned 1-0 away win at bottom club Apollon Smyrnis.

Congo midfielder Clarck N'Sikulu scored the only goal of the game after eight minutes, but Apollon can count themselves unfortunate with both Savvas Siatravanis and Anastasios Papazoglou hitting the woodwork.

Any lingering hopes of pinching a late equalizer went out the window in the 65th minute when Apollon had captain Giorgos Dasios sent off for a second booking.
