Battle between Ansarifard and Prijović for Super League’s top scorer
As we come towards the conclusion of the 2017/18 Greek Super League season, the battle to become the top goal scorer in Greece is heating up with Olympiacos’ Karim Ansarifard and PAOK’s Aleksandar Prijović tied for first with 15 goals this season.

The Serbian front man, Prijović, has spent 182 more minutes on the pitch in comparison to the Iranian Ansarifard. On the other hand, PAOK’s Prijović has a much more clinical shot to goal ratio having only 45 shots on goal whereas Ansarifard has had 12 more attempts, with a total of 57 shots this season.
Prijović has scored one goal per every 3 shots taken which is a very impressive strike rate. The Olympiacos striker ultimately gets involved much more in the team’s build up play having had 5 assists for the season, whereas Prijović has only provided 3 assists for PAOK.
The league’s top goal scorer for the 2017/18 season will be decided in the final two matches. Olympiacos will host Panetolikos before traveling to play PAS Giannina while PAOK will travel to Athens for a derby matchup against Panathinaikos before hosting relegated Platanias on the final matchday.
