A few days ago, the Bosnian and Hellenic Football Federations released official statements for what occurred during Friday's World Cup qualifier between Greece and Bosnia, but neither statement relieved the tension between the two sides. Earlier today, the Bosnian Federation proceeded with an apology letter to EPO, apologizing for the actions of their assistant coach, who punched Gianni's Gianniotas in the face (lost two teeth), and also for the actions of their fans, who attacked the few Greek supporters at the stadium.
The letter went on to say that the Bosnian Football Federation condemns these acts and any acts of violence and that they hope to continue their great relations with the Greek Football Federation. The letter concluded stating that Bosnia hope for many years of fair sportsmanship and friendly relations between the two associations.
Below is the official apology letter from the Bosnian Federation.
