Dorsey predicted to go 43rd in NBA Draft
Greece international Tyler Dorsey is predicted to go 43rd overall in tomorrow’s NBA Draft.
Over the last few months, Tyler Dorsey's stock has risen in light of the NBA draft which will take place in Brooklyn, New York on June 22nd. At the end of the NCAA season, it was unsure if Dorsey would be picked in the NBA draft, but his great displays in the NCAA tournament (led Oregon to the Final-4) and the NBA Combine have likely assured him a pick in tomorrow’s draft.
Dorsey has also practiced with various NBA teams in the offseason including the Lakers, 76ers, and even with Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks. According to nbadraft.net, he is predicted to go 43rd overall in the to the Houston Rockets. However, these are only predictions and nothing will be finalized until tomorrow’s draft.
Tyler Dorsey is a Greek-American that plays for Greece’s national basketball team and will likely be invited to the squad for the upcoming Eurobasket tournament. If Dorsey is drafted, he will be the fourth Greek player in the NBA along with Kostas Koufos, Georgios Papagiannis, and the “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo.
