ESPN Predicts: Antetokounmpo NBA MVP and Best Defender
ESPN has predicted that in the future, Giannis Antetokounmpo could be the named the NBA’s MVP and best defender.
ESPN’s Marc Stein predicted that in the near future, Giannis Antetokounmpo could be named the NBA’s MVP and also the league’s best defender. He could win both of those honors in the same season at the rate he is currently playing.
Stein went on to say that the Greek Freak is the league’s most improved player and will likely win that award this season, surpassing both Nikola Jokic and Rudy Gobert.
Antetokounmpo became the first player in NBA history to finish in the league’s Top-20 in points scored, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. Additionally, he led his team in ALL FIVE of those categories this season, only the fifth player in NBA history to do so.
