EURO 2020 qualifying draw set for December 2nd
The UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying draw will be held on December 2nd in Dublin, Ireland.
The UEFA Euro 2020 competition will follow the same format as the 2016 edition of the tournament, where 24 teams will participate in the final event. However, Euro 2020 will not feature a host nation, but rather the finals competition will be held in 13 different cities and the Final will take place at the Wembley stadium in England. The other host cities include Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Glasgow, Munich, Rome, Dublin, and Saint Petersburg.
The 55 teams that will partake in qualifying will be separated into 10 groups of five and six teams. Twenty teams will qualify from the qualifying process (possibly 2 teams from each group) and an additional four teams will qualify from UEFA’s newest international competition, the Nations League, totaling 24 qualified team for Euro 2020. No host nation will be granted an automatic berth in the finals.
