Four European finals and two European Cups for Olympiacos in 2018
It was a spectacular season for Olympiacos as the club advanced to four European finals and celebrated two European championships.

The 2017/18 season was one for the history books at Olympiacos with the club celebrating much success on the continental stage. The club advanced to FOUR European Finals in both men’s and women’s volleyball and water polo and became the first Greek club to celebrate two European championships in the same season.
The men’s Water Polo team were crowned champions of the LEN Champions League, Europe’s premier club competition, after defeating Pro Recco 9-7 in Saturday’s Final. It was the second LEN Champions League title for the Red and Whites, with their first European crown coming back in 2002.
The women’s Volleyball team won their first European championship in club history when they defeated Turkey’s Bursa over two legs in the CEV Challenge Cup final. The Erythrolefki fell in their first leg matchup in Greece, but pulled off the comeback in the return leg to become champions of Europe’s third tier club competition.
The men’s volleyball team advanced to the final of the same competition, but where unable to enjoy similar success as the women's team. Olympiacos fell in both legs to Italy’s Ravenna with a 3:1 scoreline and finished as runner-ups in the competition.
The Olympiacos women’s water polo team, a dominant force in the sport over the years, advanced to the LEN Trophy final, Europe’s second tier club competition. However, the Erythrolefkes could not win their second LEN Trophy title as they fell to Dunaujvaros 11:13 in a closely contested match.
