Gianniotas and Siopis to Return to Olympiacos this Summer
Two young Greece internationals, Manolis Siopis and Giannis Gianniotas, will return to Olympiacos at the end of the season. Also, Spyros Risvanis will be moving to Olympiacos from Panionios next season.
Gianniotas, who is on a loan at APOEL from Olympiacos, has convinced the Erythrolefki with his performances that he deserves a place in the Greek Champions’ roster. The 23-year old has had a tremendous season in Cyprus for APOEL and is ready to prove himself in Greece with Olympiacos. Reports from Cyprus state that Olympiacos have informed APOEL that the player will return back to Piraeus at the end of the season.
As for Siopis, Olympiacos have already come to a deal with Panionios for his transfer back to Olympiacos. Siopis played at Olympiacos from 2013-2014, but did not manage to make an appearance for the club, before making a move to the Nea Smyrni side that season. The player’s agent, Giannis Evangelopoulos, stated to SPORT FM 94.6 that it is a done deal, as Olympiacos have activated the purchase clause included in the player’s transfer contract back in 2014.
Today, the technical director of Panionios announced in an interview with ArenaFM 89.4, that Spyros Risvanis will be a free-agent at the end of this year and has already agreed to a deal with Olympiacos. The 23-year old centre-back has been one of panionios’ top players this season.
