Giannis Bows Out of NBA Playoffs in Heroic Fashion
Giannis Antetokounmpo put on another stellar performance on Thursday for the Milwaukee Bucks, but it was not enough as his side fell to the Raptors and bowed out of this year's NBA playoffs.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was the star once again for the Milwaukee Bucks in Thursday's game 4 playoff matchup against the Toronto Raptors. Unfortunately for the Bucks and for Giannis, the Raptors came away with the 92-89 win, recording their second victory in Milwaukee to win the series 4-2.
The Greek Freak scored a new playoff career-high 34 points (previous record was 30 points), going 12/21 from the field, 1/2 from 3-point range, and 7/13 from the free throw line. He finished the game with 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 block in 46 minutes of play (was rested for 2 minutes in the second quarter).
Although the Bucks were eliminated, Giannis finished is FANTASTIC season on a positive note with another dominating display on the court. Antetokounmpo had the best season of his career, breaking multiple records throughout the year, and sending a message to all that he is one of the best players in the NBA.
