Many changes in Greece's starting XI for the miracle
Michael Skibbe has announced Greece's starting XI for the second leg playoff in Piraeus, where the Ethniki will chase a miracle to overturn the 4-1 loss from the first leg.
Michael Skibbe proceed to six changes in Greece's starting XI for the second leg matchup in Croatia. The German boos will display Greece in a traditional 4-2-3-1 (or 4-3-3) formation with Karnezis in goal and Torosidis (instead of Maniatis), Papastathopoulos, Manolas (instead of Papadopoulos), and Retsos (instead of Tzavellas) from right to left in the defensive line. Tachtsidis (instead of Samaris) and Tziolis will begin in the holding midfield positions while Zeca and Christodoulopoulos (instead of Stafylidis) will play on the wings. Bakasetas will take the place of Fortounis and will be behind the lone striker Kostas Mitroglou.
