In an otherwise quiet week for Greek players abroad, a couple of players provided some highlights. Babis Lykogiannis hit a match-winning strike deep into injury time to give Sturm Graz the win in Austria. Alexandros Tziolis scored in Saudi Arabia as well, while German-based players such as Panagiotis Retsos and Kyriakos Papadopoulos picked up wins. Vasilis Torosidis and Avraam Papadopoulos saw red, while Sokratis Papastathopoulos saw his side blow a 4-0 to rivals Schalke.
