It was a solid weekend for Greeks in foreign lands with goals and assists and big victories for many. The goals came from all over the world. Giannis Fetfatzidis scored in Saudi Arabia, Giannis Skondras netted in Scotland, Andrea Vasilogiannis celebrated his strike in Turkey, while former Greek international Avraam Papadopoulos chipped in with one of his own in a big comeback in Australia.

Giannis Gianniotas managed to nab an assist in limited minutes to help salvage a draw for Real Valladolid. Nikos Karelis missed a penalty, but the great news for Greek fans was that the attacker played for the first team again after a 10-month hiatus due to a serious knee injury. Injuries affected some big names this week as can be seen below in individual breakdown of Greeks playing abroad.
